The motor has a very strong pull and the acceleration is rapid and immediate. The car glides on the pavement and handles like a champ. The clutch and the shifting action are in sync, and the car stops on demand. The motor is dry!In 2007 with 123K miles on the clock, the car underwent a major mechanical overhaul, which included a complete engine rebuild, new clutch, timing chain, right & left chain tensioners, fuel injectors, CV outer boots, exhaust valves, idle control valve, oil return tubes, plus too? many other items to list. Other repairs in later years consisted of new springs & shocks, steering rack boots, inside axle boots, brake hoses, front rotors, motor mounts, windshield, and AC retrofit to R134a system.
